Ballyfermot Advance Project CLG (BAP) is a low threshold community based Project, which offers a range of services to people with drug/alcohol problems, their families and the wider Ballyfermot community. For further information on BAP, please go to www.ballyfermotadvance.ie.
The Project has vacancies for the following 3 positions
1 X Addiction Practitioner Outreach Worker (37.5 hrs per week)
2 X Positions for Cocaine / Crack Cocaine Assertive Outreach Workers including Out of Hours (1 X 37.5 hrs, 1 X 30 hrs per week)

Qualifications & Experience Required
- Have a relevant qualification (minimum QQI Level 7 or equivalent) e.g. social care, addiction studies, community or youth work together with training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA)
- Have a minimum of 2 years relevant employed work experience in addiction, assertive outreach, community development, health & social care or related fields including experience of brief interventions, crisis support, NSP, key working, case management
- Have an understanding of the current National Drugs Strategy, Substance Misuse Strategy, National Drug Rehabilitation Framework, logic model reporting, QUADS and/or Safer Better Healthcare (SBHC) Standards
