Responsible For: Supporting the campaign manager on the 2025 Street Feast campaign
Contract type & hours: 4 month contract, 3 days per week (21 hours)
Start date: 03.02.25
End date: 27.06.25 (4 months contract)
Salary: €32,760 pro-rata (Equates to €1,638 per month)
Location: Leinster based, working from home. Joining us in our Dublin 8 office every Wednesday OR in our Newtownmountkennedy office every Tuesday

About the Role
Street Feast is Ireland’s national weekend of neighbourhood street parties and food sharing. It is an initiative of Neighbourhood Network, a not-for-profit, community building organisation. We’re all about building and strengthening neighbourhoods and kick-starting ideas for positive community participation. Our goal for Street Feast this year is to inspire 1250 Street Feasts to take place across the country on the weekend of 24th/25th May.
As a Campaign Officer, you will support the Campaign Manager in carrying out all aspects of the Street Feast 2025 campaign from start to finish. You will also work closely with the Street Feast Campaign Community Officer.

Neighbourhood Network is a registered Irish charity (RCN: 20206679) which aims to promote social inclusion, tackle loneliness and build supportive and resilient neighbourhoods around Ireland.
The ambition is simple; to help create happy, healthy and more connected places for people to live, where neighbours feel supported by each other. We do this by working with residents to help establish their community themselves, supporting local leaders to build inclusive, resilient groups in their estates.
Neighbourhood Network’s main project Street Feast has been in operation for fourteen years, seeing over 9,600 Street Feasts take place, reaching an estimated 883,200 people. Neighbourhood Network’s fourteen year experience with organising Street Feasts gives us the capacity to bring community around a table and to create more inclusive, healthier and happier communities.
Our team currently consists of a CEO, 3 Project Managers, an administrator and 4 part-time staff. We have a voluntary board of 9 trustees. Neighbourhood Network is an Irish Charity with Registered Charity Number (RCN): 20206679
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Creation and management of registration database (Google Drive)
- Running timely bi-weekly registration reports, analysing nationwide data per county with excel pivot tables
- Checking the registration website Changex dashboard, ensuring that it is up to date
- Liaising with distributor on delivery of Street Feast packs to participants
- Outreach to nationwide libraries, farmers markets, community gardens
- Coordinating nationwide photography team of 10 photographers and efficiently filing their photos on Google Drive
- Street Feast Volunteer recruitment, induction, and coordination
- Promotional roadshow events and Street Feast Together coordination support
- Attending several Roadshows where applicable
- Creation of annual reports following Street Feast
- Working successfully alongside the seasonal Street Feast team
- And more as required
Experience required:
- Administrative skills working across projects
- Working with excel and google business suite is a key element of this role
- Extremely details in managing and creation of data and reports
- A demonstrable passion for engaging communities of all kinds
- The ability to work with diverse groups of people

Terms and conditions of employment:
- Annual Leave: Annual leave at Neighbourhood Network is 21 days (pro-rata) in addition to the standard 10 public holidays.
- TOIL: We operate a time off in lieu (TOIL) system, where staff can work pre-approved additional hours and receive compensatory time off in lieu.
- Training & Development: Continuous professional development, training & further education courses, study & exam leave and professional membership fees are paid for at Neighbourhood Network’s discretion where relevant.
- Travel & Subsistence: Travel and subsistence expenses will be paid similar to public sector rates.
- Location: Hybrid and remote working environment - You can also work at our lovely Wicklow office in Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow. And meet the full team once a month in the Fumbally Stables loft in Dublin 8.
