We’re pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an Event Delivery & Support Manager to join the parkrun Ireland team, based in Dublin.

From quiet beginnings, parkrun has grown into a worldwide social movement with community at its beating heart.

Committed to breaking down barriers to participation in regular physical activity, and bringing communities together, we deliver free, weekly, timed events that people of all ages and backgrounds can take part in – as walkers, runners, volunteers and spectators.

Our mission is to create a healthier and happier planet. Now in our 20th year, parkrun events are delivered in over 2,500 locations across 21 countries.

parkrun Ireland was started 12 years ago and now there are over 150 parkrun events around the country taking place every weekend, with more locations being added all of the time. We are looking to invest and grow further in Ireland as part of our five year strategy and are recruiting new staff members to support our journey.

The role

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Irish team. The role holder will be responsible for supporting event teams, our volunteers and ambassadors and activating new events across the Republic of Ireland.

Supporting the fast-paced and varied work of the parkrun organisation will require the building of effective relationships with internal teams as well as with external partners.

The ideal candidate will have fantastic organisational skills, be able to build effective relationships quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
