Garryowen Community Development Project invite applications for the position of Manager.
The Garryowen Community Development Project are in an exciting new phase and are seeking a passionate and energetic individual who can drive development in the community of Garryowen.
The Garryowen Community Development Projects mission is to empower local people to be actively involved in meeting the needs of the community of Garryowen. The CDP is located in the heart of community on Garryowen Road.
The Garryowen Community Development Project provides a range of services in the community in partnership with other stakeholders including: further educational opportunities, education and employment supports, youth work, evidenced based child and family programmes and groups, health and wellbeing programmes and activities, community events, and supports to local community groups.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
The manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Garryowen Community Development Project. The manager will lead the staff team and be responsible for promoting the centres projects activities and programmes, identifying and securing funding, and progressing future development opportunities. The manager is responsible for networking, collaborating and partnering where appropriate at a local, citywide and national level. The successful applicant will be driven and self-motivated and possess the skills necessary to ensure that service delivery is in line with governance standards, regulatory requirements and the overall objectives of the CDP. The manager will report to the Board of Directors of the Garryowen Community Development Project.

Terms and Conditions
Full-time (35 hours per week). Salary (€47,500- €50,000 per annum) dependent on experience per annum. This contract is offered on an initial 12 month basis and is jointly funded under the SICAP (Social Inclusion Community Activation Fund) and Limerick City and County Council ESIF (European Social Intervention Fund).
