UBU – Your Place Your Space project is a KCYS managed service funded under the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) through Kerry Education & Training Board (KETB)

The service identifies, recruits and engages targeted young people aged 10 to 24 years of age in the designated area. The project aims to provide young person centred out of school supports to young people in their local communities to enable them to overcome adverse circumstances and achieve their full potential by strengthening their personal and social competencies.

Kerry Community Youth Service (KCYS) is a community-based youth work organisation committed to serving all young people in a safe, fun and positive environment, through the provision of youth spaces, services, mentoring, training and ongoing opportunities for their holistic development, and by advocating for their needs.

Applications are invited for:

UBU Project Workers

KCYS Tralee - Full time (35 hours per week), 12-month Fixed Term Contract
KCYS Castleisland - Full time (35 hours per week) Specified Purpose Contract linked to Maternity Leave
26 days Annual Leave per annum, paid sick leave scheme

The successful candidate will work with prescribed, targeted young people in the designated areas to develop and deliver youth work programmes and supports.
