WALK is a section 39 community-based provider of supports for people with intellectual disability. Based in Dublin, Kildare and Louth, our main supports are in the areas of living accommodation, employment, career development, education, and training.

We are currently recruiting for a Governance, Risk and Compliance Coordinator, to join our team.

As the Governance, Risk and Compliance coordinator, the post holder will help to develop and implement strategies to mitigate operational and regulatory risks and maintain compliance. Additionally, will provide administrative support towards the analysis of organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Charities Regulatory Authority and HSE; serve as a point of contact for auditors, funders, or other stakeholders during compliance reviews and audits.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Compliance Monitoring / Internal Audit/ Risk Management role preferably in social care setting.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of applying standards to practice, quality improvement processes, and quality and safety frameworks.
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and security policies, assessing operations’ risk, ability to conduct audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Experience producing and presenting risk and compliance reports.
• Excellent collaboration attitude and an ability to work with all levels of the organization to deliver practical and appropriate compliance solutions.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making and demonstrated experience of delivering highly accurate output in an environment of multiple deadlines.
