Course Facilitator
One Family, Ireland’s national organisation for people parenting alone, sharing parenting and separating is recruiting a Course Facilitator. One Family provide adult education and training to people parenting alone and we aim to develop and provide a range of best practice programmes that empower participants to move into education or work. In 2019 and 2023, our New Futures Employability Programme won the Special Recognition Aontas STAR Award for making an outstanding contribution to adult learning.
Our New Steps Personal Development and New Futures Employability Programmes are free and provide lone parents with the skills and support they need to progress to education and employment. All participants have access to regular one-to-one support and other wraparound family supports. Our employability programmes and supports are delivered in person, on Zoom or via e-learning, depending on the needs of each group.

New Futures Facilitator
This post will provide the right applicant with the opportunity to work as part of dynamic and exciting projects, providing group training and support to women detached from the labour market. The projects aim to support people parenting alone or sharing parenting through our flagship New Futures Employability programme and assist them in accessing further education, training and employment.
This post has responsibility for the weekly delivery of facilitated group sessions via Zoom from February 2025 and in person in Dublin city centre from September 2025.

Further Details
This is a fixed term (until 30th June 2026), part-time post of 15 hours per week on an annual salary of €37437.37 pro rata (€16,044.59 for 15 hours). To accommodate parent availability and course delivery times, the successful applicant would be available 4 days per week 9-1/1.30pm including breaks.
This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period. This is a hybrid position with a requirement to attend One Family’s offices in Smithfield, Dublin 7, as required, particularly during in person programme delivery from September 2025. A panel may be formed as a result of this recruitment process, from which current and future vacancies may be filled for this or other funded projects within the Programmes service.
