The Personal Assistant is required to assist a young man in his own home and out in the community. This role is suitable for a highly motivated and reliable individual who is committed to providing support to someone to live an independent life. This is not a caring role; we are looking for someone to provide social and peer supports to the individual. 

About the role:

Position: Personal Assistant 
Location: Dun Laoghaire Co. Dublin 
Hours: Part time flexible hours 
Salary: Starting €20 - €25 per hour basic (Depending on experience). Antisocial and Sunday rates apply.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide social supports to the individual in his home and out in the community.
• Attend events in the community such as GAA and other sporting events
• Support with completing physical therapy and exercises
• Driving – applicant must have a full clean license
• Assistance to appointments and other social activities.

Core Competencies:

• Openminded
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Caring and compassionate

Desirable 

• Background in social care or healthcare
• Experience with physical therapy
• An interest in GAA and Rugby 

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Ireland and be fluent in English.
