MOVE Ireland provides a Domestic Abuse Prevention Programme for men. We do this by facilitating a group behaviour intervention programme for domestic abuse. The programme is free, non-judgemental, and available to men who would like to change their behaviour. When men are referred to MOVE Ireland, they are encouraged to take responsibility for their abuse and learn about the effects of domestic abuse on their partner and family. Clients learn how to react without being abusive and are shown ways to cope with feelings and behaviours in difficult situations.
