‘Assisting Young People at Challenging Times’. No 4 Youth Service aims to enhance the quality of young people’s lives by providing an effective and holistic response to a wide variety of issues pertaining to young people aged 13 - 25 years.
The focus of the organisation is to improve the health and well-being of young people through implementing programmes and activities that have an emphasis on intervention and prevention in a range of areas including, homelessness, education, physical and mental health and employability.
No.4 Youth Service is now recruiting a Youth Work Leader whose responsibilities will include being the person in charge of the Youth Work team as well as supporting young people availing of the service.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree standard qualification in Youth Work or equivalent relevant qualification
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role in a youth or community setting
- Be self-motivated and highly organised
- Be computer literate
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Have a genuine interest in positively impacting the lives of vulnerable young people
Highly Desirable
- Full clean driving licence
- Training in support and supervision/coaching
Special Requirements:
- Garda Vetting will apply
Hours of Work: 35 hours weekly
