Part Time Outreach Worker

St Michael’s Parish Youth Project Ltd, t/a CORE Youth Service, is a community based youth work organisation working for the welfare, development & well-being of 10-24 year-olds in Inchicore, Dublin 8.

Core Youth Service is seeking 1 part time Outreach Worker up to 21 hours for a 6 months to work as part of the Youth Work team in a busy, demanding and dynamic youth work environment and to engage and work with people from a variety of backgrounds through street work and outreach work. The post requires flexibility and consists of day, evening and weekend work.

The position requires a staff member who can engage people, especially vulnerable and at-risk young people using the street work and outreach work methodologies, working with needs that arise and signposting to relevant services. Other duties will include reporting on the work of the various programmes, interagency work, best practice & policy development.
