Youth Worker and Youth Activity Worker

(3 positions available)

These positions are funded under the Department of Children and Youth - UBU funding scheme through the City of Dublin Youth Services.

Main Role:

The Youth (Activity) Worker, working as part of the youth work team, will be primarily involved in identifying and engaging with young people at risk in the community. Then planning, developing, implementing and evaluating youth work programmes to meet the needs and interests of the young people, in keeping with service level agreements and organisational plans, as agreed with the Project Leader, Manager and the Board of Sphere 17 RYS.

Salary scale for the above roles is commensurate with the Department of Education Youth Worker (€38,384-€56,447) and Youth Activity Worker (€38,218-€51,210) Salary Scales. These posts will require the successful candidate to work scheduled hours at evenings and weekends.
