About Us

The Bluestack Special Needs Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and adults with additional needs, as well as their families.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the foundation. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Trustees to develop and execute strategic goals, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and oversee the efficient delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Work collaboratively with the Board of Trustees to develop and deliver on key strategic objectives, ensuring alignment of the foundation’s activities with its mission and long-term sustainability.

Governance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with Charities Regulator, Companies Registration Office, and other statutory requirements.

Operational & Programme Oversight: Oversee the foundation’s core services ensuring operational efficiency and maximum impact. Identify opportunities for growth and innovation to meet the evolving needs of individuals with additional needs and their families. Ensure robust monitoring and evaluation processes are in place to measure service effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy: Serve as the primary spokesperson for the foundation, representing its interests to funders, policymakers, key stakeholders and the public.

Leadership & Management: Lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Financial Management & Fundraising: Work closely with the Finance Manager to manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and audits. Ensure financial sustainability through strategic fundraising, grant applications, and donor engagement.

We are seeking a leader with

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the disability/social care sector or a related field.
• Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Quality, Management, or a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, governance, and financial management.
• A collaborative leadership style with an ability to balance business acumen with a people centred approach.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to positively represent the organization and maintain strategic partnerships.
• Passion for service delivery, with a strong understanding of governance, quality standards and compliance in the nonprofit sector.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity, and compassion in supporting individuals with additional needs.
• Proficiency in IT and digital tools that enhance process efficiency and reporting.

What we offer:

Salary range - €50,000 - €60,000 depending on experience
