Louth County Childcare Committee are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced people for the role of

Development Officer

This is a Fixed term Part time 20hr contract from July to December 2024. The opportunity of a continuous contract beyond this fixed term is subject to funding.

Essential Criteria:

• Third Level Qualification (minimum level 7) in a relevant discipline such as Early Years Care and Education, Community Development, Business Management or equivalent.
• Experience delivering Information and training events.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Own transport to and from venues and childcare services.

Desirable Criteria:

• Knowledge of the Early Years Sector, government Childcare programmes and Tusla Childcare Regulation.
• Experience of small business financial Management directly or in a supporting role.
• Experience working in a development / business management role.
• Experience organising and facilitating Network events.
• Remuneration: Grade 5 Local Government Pay Scales
