LEADER Programme 2023-2027

Development Officer 
Part time position 3 days per week

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Contract: 2 Year Contract with possibility of additional year subject to funding
Located: Carlow Town and remote working where appropriate
Salary: In the region of €37k pro rata

Job Purpose: 

This is an excellent opportunity to join Carlow County Development Partnership CLG in the key role of LEADER Programme Development Officer. Joining a high performing team and reporting to the CEO, the purpose of this position is to roll out the 2023-2027 LEADER Progamme in Carlow County.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Deliver an effective community engagement and animation strategy
• Strategic management of a community project portfolio
• Ensure up to date understanding of the LEADER Programme 2023-2027 Operating Rules and amendments.

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be required:

• Rural Development
• Project Management
• Animation and engagement
