About BTAP:

‘’Ballyfermot Travellers Action Project seek to empower Travellers through innovative community development work, which acts as a catalyst for social change, to collectively participate in redressing the challenges and issues that affect Travellers in order to improve the quality of their lives as a nomadic ethnic group’’.

Role purpose:

The Family Development Worker will work in partnership with Traveller families, practitioners, communities, and agencies, in Ballyfermot and Cherry Orchard areas; with a particular focus of helping to build their capacity as parents in parenting their young children and so help local Ballyfermot Traveller children reach their educational, health, social and emotional development milestones and potential.

Closing date is: 5pm on the 22nd of November 2024.
