Introduction & Context:

County Wicklow Partnership is a local development company working to improve the opportunities for people and communities in County Wicklow to bring about positive changes in their own lives and in their community.

Our mission is to support the social, cultural, economic and environmental wellbeing of all individuals, families and communities in County Wicklow. We do this through the programmes we deliver in partnership with our stakeholders

As a local development company, we deliver a number of programmes to support people and communities in the County, including our social inclusion programme SICAP and the EU Rural Development Programme LEADER.

In December 2024, County Wicklow Partnership launched its Strategic Plan for 2025 to 2028 detailing how it plans to invest in People, Communities, Our People and Governance & Finance.

Within our new strategic plan, communications of our work has been identified as a core priority. Any such plan must reflect and embed our company values of respect, integrity, person-centred, community-led, partnership and sustainability.

The Ask:

To this end, we are seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced communications & marketing experts to develop and implement a communications and marketing plan for County Wicklow Partnership for a six month period, empowering our teams around the significance of effective communication and embedding this into our operating rhythm, a vital aspect of this role. It is envisaged that this work will be delivered 4 days per month but could be extended to more if needed. There should be particular emphasis on the promotion of the SICAP programme.

There should be particular focus on our social media and website platforms and how they can be utilised to maximum affect. It should also be noted that company branding has already been developed so such an element will not be required.
