Irish Hospice Foundation: Call for Tenders
Call for tenders: Foundation training for end of life and bereavement discussions and development of a panel.
Background
Irish Hospice Foundation is the national charity for dying, death and bereavement in Ireland. Our vision is an Ireland where people facing end of life or bereavement, and those who care for them, are provided with the care and support that they need.
Our public engagement and training programmes have wide reach in the community (Arts, planning ahead, grief and bereavement at work and in the community) and through healthcare services (hospital, nursing home and primary care).
All IHF information and training sessions are based in adult education principles. Included in this approach is the acknowledgement that reflection and learning on end of life, dying and bereavement is intrinsically different to other topics.
IHF issues this tender request for support in further developing our Train the Trainer and Speaker Panel options in order to increase capacity and to support other organizations wishing to engage in community facilitation around dying and bereavement.
