Performing Arts Ireland: Incorporated in 2003 as Theatre Forum Ireland and rebranded in 2024 to reflect the diversity of its membership.

Our vision: supporting artists, arts workers, and organisations to build a better connected, more diverse, and stronger community and secures the resources needed to sustain the sector.

Today: A dynamic platform with a community of 250 members made up of organisations and individual practitioners focused on 3 goals: Facilitate Connections, Enable Change, Provide Resources.

Vacancy: The Board are now seeking to appoint a Director to lead the organisation and realise the ambitious of its new strategy from 2024 to 2028.

Performing Arts Forum is a dynamic platform whose mission is to be an effective point of connection for the sector, facilitating opportunities for information sharing and collaboration, carrying out research and collecting evidence. We do this to effect change where it is needed, promoting effective models of practice, and providing relevant resources for member artists, arts workers, and arts organisations.

Having developed a new strategy for the period 2024 to 2028 and rebranded to reflect the diversity of its membership, the Board of the Performing Arts Forum is now seeking to appoint a Director to lead the organisation and realise the aims of this strategy.

Based in Festival House in the heart of Temple Bar in Dublin, this role provides an opportunity for a leader who can articulate the challenges of performing arts sector in different settings, foster a sense of community and support, and lead the provision of valued and practical resources for the community of members.
