About Safetynet Primary Care

Safetynet Primary Care is a medical charity that delivers quality care to those marginalized in society without access to healthcare, including homeless people, drug users and migrants. We also facilitate a network of health services working with homeless people’s care to ensure a coordinated approach and promote best practice.


Full time Practice Nurse Manager (CNM1) (Inclusion Health Clinic)

Dublin based

This role provides practice nursing at the Safetynet Inclusion Health Clinic in Dublin City Centre. Supporting daily GP clinics, this role requires excellent nursing skills and competencies including complex wound dressing and Childhood Immunisation administration.

The Inclusion Health Clinic in Dublin’s North inner city is for those who are not being served by other services including undocumented migrants, protection applicants without access to primary care services, as well homeless people. The Primary Care Service operates as a GP service with daily clinics and strong links and engagement with other services in the area caring for vulnerable cohorts. The team comprises GPs, Nurse and Medical Administrator.


Full time Clinical Nurse Manager (Grade 1) (All Services)

Dublin Central & Greater Dublin

The role is based primarily in Dublin in Supported Temporary Accommodations and in GP open access clinics for International Protection Applicants and people experiencing homelessness. The CNM1 will work across all of Safetynet’s teams and clinics based in Dublin City and Greater Dublin.

Safetynet Primary Care provides a suite of clinics and InReach & Outreach services providing Primary Care Services to people from marginalised groups. The teams provide health services and screening services to homeless, vulnerable migrants and other hard to reach groups where mainstream services are not available. It facilitates the integration of specific population groups to mainstream services. The Safetynet teams comprise dedicated GPs, Nurses and allied health professionals working together to provide quality health care.


All these roles require a passion for delivering health care to vulnerable people including those experiencing homelessness, addiction or forced migration. Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work within a team and independently are essential.
