At Studio 3 Kerry, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all support. We work alongside individuals as they shape lives of their choosing, with genuine connections and meaningful roles in their communities.

We are currently seeking an Independent Living Facilitator to support individuals with Autism and intellectual disabilities to live independently in their own homes and local communities. This role is about providing flexible, personalised support that builds skills, confidence, and lasting natural support.

About the Role

As an Independent Living Facilitator, you will:

  • Support individuals with complex needs to live safely and comfortably at home, with the right balance of practical support and independence.
  • Work in close partnership with families and local support networks to scaffold natural supports that can grow and sustain over time.
  • Facilitate the development of personal goals, life skills, and routines that reflect each person’s interests and values.
  • Promote inclusion, decision-making, and autonomy in everyday life.
  • Provide home support and personal care as required, guided by the individual’s needs and preferences.
  • Use low-arousal, relationship-centred approaches to support communication, emotional wellbeing, and respond effectively during times of distress.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychologists and community partners, to ensure holistic, person-centred support.

Our work is connected to a local nature project which promotes inclusive access to woodland and outdoor spaces. While not essential, an interest in the wellbeing benefits of nature is welcome.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about individualised support and supporting people to live independently.
  • Builds strong, respectful relationships and communicates effectively.
  • Is proactive, flexible, and able to adapt supports in line with people’s changing needs and preferences.
  • Has experience or interest in personal care, home support, or community-based services.
