At Studio 3 Kerry, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all support. We work alongside individuals as they shape lives of their choosing, with genuine connections and meaningful roles in their communities.
We are currently seeking a Day Service Practitioner to join our team, supporting individuals with Autism and intellectual disabilities through personalised, community-based day services. This role focuses on building natural supports, promoting inclusion, and creating real opportunities for personal development.
About the Role
As a Day Service Practitioner, you will:
- Work in partnership with individuals, their families, and local networks to scaffold natural supports and promote independence.
- Support individuals with complex needs to access their communities, develop their interests, and engage in meaningful activities.
- Facilitate the development of person-led goals that reflect each individual’s strengths, preferences, and aspirations.
- Use low-arousal approaches and support effective communication, including with non-verbal individuals.
- Collaborate with clinicians, families, and community partners to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
- Deliver supports in line with the New Directions Framework and Policy for Day Services, always keeping the person at the centre.
Our work is connected to a local nature project which promotes inclusive access to woodland and outdoor spaces. While not essential, an interest in the wellbeing benefits of nature is welcome.
