We are recruiting Programme Facilitators for our Day Services across Bagenalstown & Bunclody 

35 hours p/ week. Hours range Monday to Saturday 9.00 a.m. to 8 p.m.

BEAM Services started with just 3 adults with special needs, but now provide a year-long day service to over 70 adults from Bagenalstown, South Carlow, North Kilkenny & Wexford. In BEAM Services we strongly believe that each individual’s needs are totally unique, so the task of providing educational support is highly staff intensive. BEAM Services has been providing housing for its members since 2006, giving them the opportunity to live independently, in a supported environment, and to maximise their role within the community.

Our Mission: is to encourage and assist adults with special needs to achieve social and personal fulfilment through involvement in a holistic programme.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• A Level 7 or 8 Qualification in Social Care / Social Studies or equivalent is required.
• CORU Registered or in process of being registered.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the care and support of the adults with intellectual disabilities and a genuine interest in this area is required.
• A sound knowledge and proven ability to interpret and apply legislation such as The National Standards for Adults with Disabilities
• Applicants must have excellent communication skills & time management skills and be highly motivated.
• Excellent record keeping skills are required.
• Full Clean Irish Driving Licence (manual licence)
