WALK: Director of Finance
WALK continues on a challenging and exciting phase of development guided by our most recent strategic and operational plans. We are offering an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Senior Leadership team and gain invaluable experience at this level.
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Finance will be primarily responsible for the Finance , Procurement and Facilities teams. This senior role requires a dynamic leader with the expertise to oversee and manage both the financial operations and facilities management of our organization, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and sustainability across all departments.
Some of the key responsibilities of the position would include
- Financial Oversight: Lead the development, management, and execution of the organization’s financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and strategic planning of all physical facilities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with all regulations.
- Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration across departments to meet organizational goals.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term planning and policy development that supports both financial growth and facility optimization.
- Funding Diversification: Lead on funding diversification strategies, exploring and creating sustainable alternative funding opportunities.
- Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and facility safety standards.

- At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in finance or general Management
- A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA).
- Proven experience in working with funders, compiling grant applications and reporting.
- Previous experience of working in a not for profit or healthcare environment.
Salary Comparable to General Manager HSE Salary Scale 2021.
