Personal Assistant required – Part time

This position

• Based in a rural area on the Carlow / Wicklow / Wexford border. This is a person-centred role that involves providing care to a male (37) nonverbal, wheelchair user with a quiet, gentle disposition, who requires full assistance with care and support needs in his own environment.
• Part Time
• Competitive rates of Pay
• Training will be provided as part of the role

Essential Qualities

• Healthcare qualification or equivalent experience in home care
• Have a caring, positive and dependable personality.
• Excellent communication skills

Duties

• Provide full assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Food preparation
• Keep a homely environment, which includes daily domestic duties

Other information

• The location of this role is rural, there is no public transport serving the area.
• Garda Vetting will need to be completed
