Head of Programmes (Training & Development & Advocacy) 

35hrs (ref: MDN/HP/24/09)

The post is offered on a 12-month full-time contract basis, subject to the continuing availability of funding and the capacity of the company to continue to win funding contracts, grant agreements, and service level agreements. Working with the existing Training and Resource Development Manager the post will have direct responsibility for the management and operations of our training and development programmes. Project management skills in planning and implementation are crucial to support the rollout of programmes.

Reporting to the CEO the Head of Programmes will become a critical part of the senior management team and support the implementation of the organisations 5-year strategic plan. They will have a knowledge of the community and voluntary sector. An understanding of community development practice and its application in a national context. They should have strong staff and operational management skills and an understanding of critical issues effecting men today.
