Housing First

Housing First is a recovery-oriented approach to ending homelessness that centres on quickly moving people experiencing homelessness into independent and permanent housing and then providing additional supports and services as needed.

19.5 hours Team Leader Sligo / Leitrim team

To work as a part of Sligo Social Services multi-disciplinary team delivering a ‘Housing First’ service

The successful candidate will be offered a fix term contract of employment for 19.5 hours per week.

The role of the Team Leader will be mainly based in Sligo Town or Letterkenny, as appropriate

Successful applicants will have:

  • Level 8 qualification in Social Care/Social Work
  • Relevant experience, preferably with some experience in a supervisory role
  • Access to car and full driving licence.
