Bray Area Partnership (BAP) is recruiting for the position of Part Time Communications Officer (21 hours).

Bray Area Partnership is a local development company working in the greater Bray and North Wicklow areas to:

  • Tackle disadvantage and social exclusion;
  • Increase equality of access to information, basic services, education, training and employment for marginalised individuals and groups; and
  • Empower local people and communities to have a say on issues that affect them, identify their own needs and make positive change in their lives.

The Communications Officer will be an integral role within BAP to maximise our reach and impact through delivering high quality communications engaging diverse audiences and stakeholders. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the organisation’s social media accounts as well as website and all PR material.

You will play a central and key role in managing the way BAP interacts with our communities and service users and creating awareness of the work of the organisation through managing the organisation’s communications and promotions.

Interviews for the Position are planned to take place in the week commencing Monday July 22th. Shortlisting of applicants may be used to select candidates for interview. Following the interview process a panel may be formed from which the appointment will be made.

The successful candidate will be offered a one - year employment contract with no less than a six months probationary period. Further employment contracts may be offered subject to satisfactory performance of duties and the continuation of funding for the position. The full-time salary for this position is €41,666 (Pro rata 21 hour contract).
