LEADER Projects Officer

Roscommon LEADER Partnership is an organisation that brings together key development projects including rural enterprise, development and social inclusion that work for the betterment of the people of Co. Roscommon.

Roscommon LEADER Partnership (RLP) is recruiting for a new full-time position within this growing and diverse team.

Main purpose of job: 

RLP is seeking a LEADER Projects Officer to implement actions under the LEADER programme. LEADER is a community led approach to local development funded through Ireland’s Rural Development Programme 2023-2027. It supports initiatives that seek to address locally identified needs and challenges.

Conditions of Work:

• Location: Head Office in Roscommon Town
• Contract duration: Fixed Term contract in line with 2023 – 2027 LEADER Programme
• Working hours: Normal work hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, including an unpaid one-hour lunch break each day. Flexibility with work hours and breaks is required based on Company needs, which may include evenings and weekends.
• A probationary period of six months will apply
• Travel expenses will be paid where appropriate
• Salary: The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications within the context funding provision.
