Resilience Healthcare: Service Manager (Person in Charge) - Prader Willi Residential Service
Resilience Healthcare are looking for a Service Manager (Person in Charge) for our Prader Willi Residential Service in Monasterevin, Co Kildare.
The Service Manager is the person with the responsibility for the day to day operation of service/s within his/her remit. The Service Manager will manage residential services in accordance with “National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities (January 2013) and the “Health Act 2007 (Care and Support of Residents in Designated Centres for Persons (Children and Adults) with Disabilities) Regulations 2013.
The Service Manager will have the ability to listen to; learn from; support and work to achieve the priorities of our service users. To provide them with a home-from-home and the opportunity to live life to their full potential.
Requirements
- RNID or RGN with ID experience/Degree in Applied Social Studies in Social Care or equivalent/similar, with a minimum of 5 years' working experience in Social Care.
- Hold or be willing to complete a post registration management qualification in health or a related field.
- Not less than 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the health and Social Care area.
- Level of knowledge and experience of dealing with HIQA.
- Experience of working in a care environment for adults and children with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism.
- Experience of working with adults and children with Prader Willi Syndrome is a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of Children First, FOI, GDPR, Disability Act and other legislation relevant to this role / knowledge of HIQA and other standards as relevant to this role.
- Experience of and ability to manage resources including budget.
