The National Deaf Village Sports and Leisure Company trading as Inspire Fitness is a leisure centre based in Dublin 7. Our mission is to be a strong and sustainable commercial partner to Deaf Village Ireland and support a thriving campus facility in Cabra that energises the social, cultural and sporting life of the Deaf community in Ireland as well as the surrounding local communities.

We are now looking to recruit a Cleaner.

The cleaner will be required to be work 37.5 hours per week and must be available to cover early shifts (8am to 4pm) and late (2pm to 10pm) shifts. The hourly rate is €13.00 and we also offer a pension scheme. Employees may also use our gym and pool facilities free of charge.

Key Areas of Responsibility

In conjunction with the Inspire Fitness team, the individual will ensure that the centre is maintained to a high standard. This will include:

• Cleaning, hoovering and washing of floors in general common areas, pool changing area and changing rooms
• Ensuring all toilets are cleaned regularly and hygiene products are replaced
• Ensuring all showers, sinks, walls, mirrors and glass are cleaned regularly
• Emptying bins
• Inform the relevant manager if cleaning products needs to be replaced or any equipment needs to be repaired or replaced
• Any additional tasks that might reasonably be required

Person Requirements

• Minimum of one years’ experience of cleaning in a public facility
• Ability to manage own workload
• Fluent in English and entitled to work in Ireland
