Contract Type: Fixed Term, Part time (21 hours). Two year contract with potential to extend pending funding.

Meath Women’s Refuge & Support Services was established in 1987 to provide refuge accommodation and support for women and children affected by domestic violence. Over the years our work has grown to include outreach and community services, including a prevention programme, and a dedicated children’s service. We aim to empower women and children who experience domestic violence and abuse on their journey to safety, wellbeing and recovery while working for long term social change in tackling domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.

Meath Women’s Refuge & Support Services has in recent years grown its scale and impact. We are now looking for a dynamic and committed individual who will continue to develop and drive our fundraising and communications strategies to support the delivery of our strategic plan. A key part of the role is the ability to effectively communicate our messages to reach women who need support, as well as inspiring and motivating community, corporate and philanthropic partners to contribute to furthering our mission. The Fundraising & Communications Manager will be resourceful and creative and have relevant skills and the capacity to make maximum use of limited resources. They will be enthusiastic and disciplined self-starter; a team player with a results-driven approach.
