The Role: 

The Integration Development Officer working under the direction of the SICAP Deputy Social Inclusion Manager will be responsible for the implementation of a programme of work supporting New Arrivals in County Louth. ‘New Arrivals’ these are individuals who have the following status:

  • Persons who are applicants under the Temporary Protection Directive (EU 2022/382-Article 5 of Directive 2001/55/EU)
  • International Protection Applicants
  • Refugees
  • Individuals under the Irish Refugee Protection Resettlement Programme (IRPRP)

The individual will be involved in the delivery of support activities outlined in the 2024 - 2025 SICAP annual plan and subsequent plans. They will work in partnership with the SICAP programme staff to support the delivery of initiatives.

The Person: 

The Integration Development Officer will with the SICAP Deputy Social Inclusion Manager implement a programme of social inclusion activities. The candidate will have experience in the design and delivery of programmes, have an ability work with a range of statutory, community and voluntary stakeholders and hold excellent ICT, communication and report writing skills including financial reporting.
