CEO

Meath Women’s Refuge and Support Services provides a specialist Domestic Violence Support Service across the whole of County Meath. We are now seeking applications for a new CEO to continue our work and support our overall growth and development as a Specialist Service provider. Our work spans the entire County. We are looking to recruit an exceptional leader who shares our passion to eliminate gender-based violence and ensure that Co. Meath is a safe place for women and children.

The overall aims of the role are:

  • To support the Board in developing and achieving its strategic aims
  • To ensure that MWRSS complies with its statutory, legal, and regulatory obligations.
  • To plan, organise and co-ordinate the overall day-to-day management of the work of the organisation
  • To support the growth and development of the organisation in line with the organisation’s Strategic Plan
  • To lead the whole staff team to ensure consistently high-quality evidence-based service delivery To devise and deliver appropriate governance, income generation, finance, and operational plans to ensure organisation’s sustainability.
  • To develop and sustain positive working relationships with key stakeholders in the community including funders, referrers, the media and other relevant personnel and agencies

Terms and Conditions: 

This is a permanent position (following a 6-month probationary period). The role is funded by CUAN-The Domestic, Sexual and Gender Based Violence Agency with a salary in the range of €62,800-€67,824 dependent on experience.

An additional on call allowance is paid for on call duties which take place every 6-8 weeks for 1 week at a time.
