Youth Justice Worker

NTDC invites applications for a Youth Justice Worker for the Roscrea Youth Service

The successful candidate must meet the criteria of the job specification including:

• At least a Level 8 professional qualification (e.g., youth work, psychology, community development, social care) approved by CORU or other relevant registration body. (Note, candidates with exceptional youth work practice experience may also be considered in lieu of degree qualification)
• At least 2 years paid experience in a Youth Work
• Experience working with 12–17 -year-olds.
• Direct experience of working with at risk youths
• Access to own car and full driver’s license

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Full-time position - Working 35 hours per week. The role is initially a fixed term contract 31st December 2025.

The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience based on a salary scale of €35,290 -€53,852, Short-listing of candidates may apply. A panel may be formed from which future positions may be filled. Garda/police vetting will apply to this post. Informal enquiries to ebarnett@ntdc.ie
