Project Coordinator (full-time)

In Sync Youth & Family Services are recruiting for a full-time Project Coordinator to lead our dynamic therapeutic team in the Naas Child and Family Project. The Naas Child and Family Project (NCFP) is part of In Sync – Youth and Family services, and in partnership with TUSLA, has provided a community based family support service to parents and children in Naas, Sallins and Johnstown since 1999.

The Project has expanded in recent years and now also provides a Therapeutic service to families in all parts of North Kildare and West Wicklow referred by Tusla, the Child and Family Agency. All of our services are free of charge to families that we work with. NCFP are a multi-disciplinary team with a diverse range of experience and expertise to guide and support families who need them.

This is a Tusla funded Service and the successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to deliver a range of supports which may include;

  • Needs Assessments
  • Parenting support
  • Marte Meo
  • Therapeutic Interventions
  • Therapeutic Play
  • Play Therapy
  • Music Therapy
  • Group work
  • Advocacy work
  • Eco-sensory work

The Project Coordinator will report to the Director of Therapeutic Services. The successful candidate will also form part of the In Sync Development Team, who work together to deliver our strategic goals.

In Sync are looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate with a recognised third-level qualification in one of the following:

  • Social Work
  • Social Care
  • Youth / Community Work
  • Early Childhood Care & Education
  • Education
  • Or related discipline e.g. Nursing, Psychology, Early Years Education etc.

This position also requires that the successful candidate will have a full clean driving licence and will be required to travel as part of their work. We are particularly interested in candidates that have experience of managing a multidisciplinary team in a similar capacity.

In Sync Youth & Family Services will employ the successful candidate on a 12-month fixed-term contract, including a 6 month probationary period. A panel may be created for similar posts that emerge within 12 months.
