Parent Link Worker (Part Time)
To join our Family Support Team
This targeted intervention focuses on building relationships with parents, early identification of needs and enhancing the strengths and protective factors within the child, family and community. Central to our practice is ensuring that families are fully involved in decisions that affect their lives and play an active role in creating changes that bring about positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum level 7 qualification in Social Care, Youth and Community, Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Social Work, Social Sciences
- Minimum of 3 years work experience of working with families in a disadvantaged community
- An excellent knowledge of Child Development and Child Poverty
- An understanding of the issues impacting on parents, children and families
- · Extensive experience of 1:1 key working and support
Parent Link Worker will be based in Fatima Childrens Daycare Centre supporting families who attend this service
Garda Vetting applies.
The post is a part time position: 21 hours per week
Salary: Fixed salary €26,409.
