Colden Care is a provider of Residential Care Services for Separated Children Seeking International Protection. Colden Care was established in response to the growing requirements of TUSLA Child & Family Agency to provide safe, regulated, and quality-driven services for these children and young people.

We are delighted to announce that we are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to be part of our Residential Care Service working with young people who are separated from their families and place of origin, seeking international protection.

We are currently looking for interested applicants for the following positions located in Carlow:

Social Care Workers

(Full Time & Relief)

ESSENTIAL

Candidates must have a minimum qualification of a Level 7 Degree in Social Care or one of the following disciplines;

• QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
• QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy
• QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling
• QQI Level 7 in Youth and Community or similar
• QQI Level 7 in Social Science / Social Studies
• QQI Level 7 in Family Support
• Professional Qualification in Teaching (Not TEFL)
• Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
• QQI Level 7 in Disability Studies
• QQI Level 7 in Applied Behavioural Analysis
• BA in Applied Policing or equivalent
• Holder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent
• No qualification or non-relevant qualification but holder of CORU registration as a Social Care worker

A full driver’s license and experience of working with displaced children and young people are desirable.

Salaries for all posts will be commensurate with post-qualification experience.
