Foróige is the National Youth Development Organisation, which promotes and fosters youth development through the operation of various youth services in urban and rural areas throughout the country. Foróige is currently recruiting for the following position:

Project Summary

Foróige, Longford Safe Futures @ The Attic House will be a proactive early intervention and integrated approach to enhancing community safety by providing young people aged 12-18 years with positive alternatives and the skills needed to thrive in the digital world and their local communities. By promoting empathy, integration, brief interventions, digital literacy, employment skills, youth citizenship and leadership, this programme will create a safer, more engaged community where young people can lead and inspire positive change.

The successful applicant will have the following essential requirements;

• Education to Degree standard preferably in Youth / Community Work (note: candidates with exceptional, relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of degree qualifications)
• Access to car and full driving licence
