Drogheda Youth Development CLG was established in 1993 to address the need for a youth service in the town. The overall aim is to promote and support youth work in a way that brings about positive social change. Now operating as Boomerang Youth Service & Café it provides a range of Recreational Educational and Specialist Supports to young people and their families.

These positions is funded through the UBU Your Place Your Space funding scheme which provides local services for young people

The programme aims to provide out-of-school supports to young people aged 10yrs – 18yrs in their local communities to enable them to overcome adverse circumstances and achieve their full potential by improving their personal and social development outcomes.
