Is currently seeking to appoint a

PROJECT MANAGER

The overall purpose of the job is

To work closely with the management committee of the FRC to implement the 5-year work-plan that will support community leadership and develop & promote the capacity for families and individuals in the community.

The Project Manager will play a key and crucial role in the success of the FRC’s Programmes and Initiatives. At all times, these Programmes and Initiatives need to be in line with the Strategic Mission and Goals of the FRC

Essential Requirements for the Role

  • A minimum of three years Management Experience is required and in particular within a community-based type role
  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues of poverty and social exclusion is a must
  • An understanding & working experience of family support practice and the role of Tusla
  • Working experience of community development principles and practices
  • Excellent Communication, facilitation and group work skills is critical
  • Experience with financial systems and staff support, development and supervision are essential
  • Proven experience in accessing funding
  • Excellent IT, social media and report writing skills
  • Access to own transport and a full clean driving licence.

This position is 5 days per week (35 hours) .

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience .
