Mitzi3 is an exciting new Social Care Organisation providing care and support for young people.

We are seeking a new team for a service we are opening early December in Limerick City.

In this role, you will provide support and care for young people in a residential setting.

We are currently recruiting for a

• Social Care Leaders: (€38,950 - €41,836)

• Social Care Workers: (€36,000 - €38,950)

• Support Workers: (€27,682 - €34,250)

Social Care Worker Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant and or related Qualification
• Relevant alternative qualifications include Psychology (Level 8), and Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling / Psychotherapy, Addiction, Counselling, Youth and Community Work, Social Sciences / Social Studies, Family Support, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Early Years Care (U12 centres only), BA Applied Policing, Higher Certificate in Custodial Care, Teaching and Nursing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of the key elements of effective team working
• Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres
• Experience of working with young people who present with behaviours that may challenge.

Support Worker Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Support workers must have experience working in a health and social care environment or in a voluntary capacity in areas such as sport.
