Foróige is the National Youth Development Organisation, which promotes and fosters youth development through the operation of various youth services in urban and rural areas throughout the country. Foróige is currently recruiting for the following position:

YOUTH OFFICER

Project Summary

This initiative aims to enable young people to re-engage with education and/or training and employment and develop life skills that foster good relations, build confidence and resilience, enhancing their employability prospects.

The successful applicant will have the following essential requirements;

• Education to Degree standard preferably in youth work, training and education, or similar field (note: candidates with exceptional, relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of degree qualifications)
• A minimum of 1-year relevant work experience
• Access to car and full driving licence
• Significant experience of designing, facilitating and evaluating education and training programmes
