​Salary: Grade 4 salary scale: €38,248 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37.5 standard hours (including breaks) (Flexibility Required)
Contract Status: Fixed Term for 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
Location: Raheny, Dublin 5.

About The Service:

The Youth Diversion Project (YDP) is community based, multi-agency youth crime prevention initiative which primarily seeks to divert young people who have been involved in anti-social and/or criminal behaviour, by providing suitable activities to facilitate personal development, promote civic responsibility and improve long-term employability prospects.

Relief Workers (Extern Disability Respite Service)

Salary:€19.61 per hour Also Sunday enhancement pay and sleeping allowance applies​
Hours: As and when required. Hours of work will be determined by mutual agreement.
Location: Based between the Centre in Meelick, Co. Clare and Watch House Cross, Parteen Road, Limerick

​​About the service:

The Extern Disability Respite Service (EDRS) Time Out Programme aims to prevent service user’s reception into care. The service supports service users whose placement at home is at risk of breakdown and/or require additional supports to develop new skills to live a better quality of life. The programme can also offer service users and family members receive much needed respite. The service aims to apply a social care model to introduce a range of programmes to service users and their families. These programmes provide opportunities for services users to develop skills in independent living, effective communication, and behaviour management.

ERDS Time Out Programme aims to meaningfully integrate and include service users in their communities. These activities include education/training, employment, social, recreation, and sport and leisure activities. The programme/s are creative and dynamic, utilising local, regional, and national resources to facilitate intervention strategies. Planned and responsive respite provision is integral to the programme/s delivery.
