Introduction

Meath Women’s Refuge and Support Services (MWRSS) provide a wide range of support and crisis services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence in Co. Meath. Our organisation was founded in 1987 and we have expanded our work over the intervening years to include outreach services, court accompaniment, therapeutic supports, and a children and young person’s programme.

We are currently seeking applications for the following sub-contractor roles:

Play Therapy

Child and Adolescent Counselling

MWRSS offers Play Therapy and Child and Adolescent Counselling as therapeutic interventions to children and young people who have experienced domestic violence and are engaged with our service. Children and Young people’s experiences of domestic violence can have a psychological, emotional, and physiological effect on the relationships within the family unit. MWRSS aims to promote the healing and growth of children and young people and their families to help them reach their potential in life and move towards resolution and empowerment.
