UBU: FULL TIME YOUTH WORKER (35 HOURS)

The Talk About Youth project is a community based youth project, in St Andrews Resource Centre, in Pearse street, Dublin 2. We are inviting suitably qualified persons to apply for the post of full –time youth worker (35 hrs). The post involves the delivery of a range of programmes for and with “at risk” and targeted young people, whilst working to the UBU, Your Place, Your Space scheme. The youth worker will work within a staff team and will also have a role in supporting volunteers. The post will involve evening work and residential work, when it is safe to do so. 

Essential Qualification

  • An NSETS recognised professionally endorsed qualification in Youth Work or Youth and Community Work 
    Or
  • Have worked with young people for two years full time in a youth work setting and have an equivalent professional qualification within the social studies/youth work/education or community development field
