Relief Supervised Access Worker
We are seeking a passionate, positive, caring, creative person with excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills to join our Supervised Access Team.
Supervised Access provides a safe environment for children to meet with their non – resident parents or extended family. The successful candidate will work as part of an established team providing supervision and support to families with complex needs, to create a safe, secure environment, promoting positive interactions for the family.
You will report to the Supervised Access Co-ordinator.
The successful candidate will have:
- A QQI Level 5 or above in Applied Social Studies or related relevant field.
- Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and child protection.
- Extensive knowledge, understanding and awareness of, attachment, trauma, neglect, addiction, mental health, challenging behaviour and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
- Flexibility and excellent time management.
- A commitment to professional development.
- Commitment to work co-operatively with other services and relationship building.
- Ability to work on their own, and to seek support and guidance when needed.
- Access to transport and full driving licence
