Youth Worker Posts (Various locations)

We are recruiting for Youth Worker Posts that will work as part of project teams to develop and implement a range of services and interventions for young people in the identified areas.

The successful candidate must demonstrate in their application that they have:

• A level 7 qualification or higher in Youth Work, Community Work, Social Studies or Social Care.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a youth work setting with ‘at-risk’ young people in a paid capacity.
• Experience of developing positive working relationships with young people, their families and communities.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Experience of working on an inter-agency basis with a range of partners.

They must also:

• Have a good working knowledge of the youth work sector in Ireland
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong recording, writing, reporting and evaluation skills & experience.
• Be willing to work evenings, unsocial hours and a time off in lieu system.
• Have a full clean driving license and own transport.

The successful candidates will be employed by In Sync Youth & Family Services on a 12 month fixed-term contract. 

Closing date for applications is 1pm on Friday 25th April 2025. Interviews are scheduled for Friday 2nd May 2025. In Sync will put in place a panel from this interview process for similar vacancies that may arise over the next 12 months.
