Call for Submissions: Help Shape New Research on the Value of Youth Work

The National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) is inviting brief submissions to inform the design of a major new research project on the social and economic value of youth work in Ireland.

Building on the momentum of NYCI’s 2012 report, this new study will explore how youth work contributes to individual and societal wellbeing – with a particular focus on policy frameworks including Young Ireland and Opportunities for Youth.

We welcome insights from researchers, organisations, and anyone with an interest in youth work who can recommend effective approaches to assessing value – whether that’s through Cost Benefit Analysis, Social Return on Investment, Theory of Change or beyond.

Deadline for submissions: 5pm, 30 April 2025
