LOETB manages and operates:
- Post-Primary Schools that provide second-level education.
- Further Education and Training (FET) programmes, including apprenticeships, adult literacy, and skills training.
- Youth Services that support young people through clubs, projects, and personal development initiatives.
- Community Education to promote learning within local communities.
LOETB is committed to inclusion and lifelong learning, offering supports such as guidance, counselling, learning assistance, and wellbeing programmes.
Laois & Offaly Education & Training Board / Youth Services:
LOETB Youth Services support the provision, coordination, administration and assessment of youth work through administering funding on behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) as defined under Section 10 (j) of the Education and Training Boards Act 2013. This funding is directed through staff-led youth services and voluntary youth clubs and groups across Laois and Offaly. LOETB Youth Services also support young people in the areas of creativity, music, mental health and well-being through Laois and Offaly Local Creative Youth Partnership.
